Strict chain-of-custody testing recognized by Texas courts for child support, custody disputes, and legal estate settlements.
Private, non-legal cheek swab collections for personal confirmation and fast answers
Celebrate your pregnancy sooner! Determine your baby's gender as early as 6 weeks with a highly accurate, premium collection.
When it comes to relationship and prenatal testing, you need absolute accuracy, complete privacy, and an affordable, transparent process. Here is why families, legal professionals, and expectant mothers trust Medstat Labs in Arlington:
Honest, Fixed Pricing (No Hidden "Legal Fees"): Most DNA collection companies charge a massive premium the second you mention the word "court." We don’t. Our legal, court-admissible collections cost the exact same as our peace-of-mind tests. You pay for the test, not the paperwork.
Professional Physical Location: You don't have to meet a stranger in a random parking lot or a fast-food restaurant. We operate out of a permanent, private, and professional office suite right here in Arlington. Your confidentiality is protected from the moment you walk through our doors.
Ultimate Scheduling Flexibility: We know life doesn't stop during standard business hours. That is why we offer dedicated weekend appointments to fit your schedule, as well as a reliable mobile collection service that brings our certified expertise straight to your home or office within a 30-mile radius.
AABB-Compliant Standards: All legal chain-of-custody testing is processed through premier, accredited partner laboratories. Your results will stand up in Texas family courts, immigration proceedings, and legal estate settlements.
Do you offer weekend appointments?
Yes. Weekend appointments (Saturdays and Sundays) are available to accommodate busy schedules. Because we maintain strict client privacy, all in-office appointments must be booked in advance. Please call (817) 476-0353 or email medstatlabs@gmail.com for additional information.Â
Do you offer mobile collection services?
Yes. We can travel directly to your home, office, or hospital room. Mobile travel fees start at $50 for locations within a 30-mile radius of our Arlington office. For distances greater than 30 miles, please call us for a custom travel quote.

Deceased Individual Testing: $500
Please contact us directly at (817) 476-0353 or medstatlabs@gmail.com to coordinate with the local medical examiner or funeral home for proper sample acquisition.
How much does Early Gender DNA testing cost?
Early Baby Gender Detection: $150
Find out if you are having a boy or a girl as early as 6 weeks into your pregnancy with a premium, rapid-result test.
What is the difference between a Legal and Non-Legal (Peace of Mind) test?
Legal Test: Requires a certified, neutral collector to verify government-issued IDs, take photographs of the participants, and document a strict chain-of-custody. These results are 100% admissible in Texas family courts, immigration cases, and estate settlements.
Non-Legal Test: Done for personal peace of mind. The collection process (buccal cheek swab) is identical, but because ID verification is skipped, the results cannot be used in a court of law.
Is the testing process painful?
No. For post-birth paternity and relationship testing, we use a painless buccal (cheek) swab to collect DNA skin cells from the inside of the mouth. Prenatal testing and early gender testing require a standard, routine blood draw.
How fast do I get my results?
Standard paternity results are typically delivered via secure email within 2 to 3 business days after the laboratory receives all samples.
